Ciao Bella, Hey Y’all!

I recently made the trek from my home in Italy all the way to Kansas City, Missouri! It feels so good to be back in the States while also missing my life in Europe. I’ve missed garbage disposals, Chipotle, and aimlessly walking around Trader Joe’s. It is a bittersweet feeling though, coming back while leaving behind a place that has become such a big part of me. I fully plan on integrating apertivo into my weekly routine and slowing down when I can!

That being said, as I settle into this new chapter, I’m excited to continue sharing my favorite European destinations, restaurants, hidden gems, and travel tips. At the same time, I’m looking forward to discovering Kansas City and exploring more of the Midwest through fresh eyes.

I’ve already built quite the list of places to visit from hours of Instagram research, recommendations from friends, and conversations with locals. There’s something special about finding those spots that don’t always make the typical travel guides, and I can’t wait to experience them for myself.

One of my personal goals is to visit all 50 states, and I’m getting closer! I have 17 states left to check off my list. I’ll be sharing those adventures here too, along with itineraries, travel tips, and my favorite finds from each destination.
